A classic cocktail that is only slightly less intimidating than the name implies. Both sweet vermouth and the addition of strawberries give it its bloody hue — and a dash of sweetness.
Bloodhound Cocktail Recipe
1 ounce gin
1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
1/2 ounce dry vermouth
crushed strawberries
Shake gin, and sweet and dry vermouth well. Strain into a glass with crushed ice and a tablespoonful of crushed strawberries.
